Boulder Ck Trails

I ran my last 20 mile long run before the Denver Marathon in three weeks. I ran the length of the Boulder Creek Trail starting at Eben Fine Park (Lap 0) to the junction with the South Boulder Creek Trail (Lap 1) to the frontage road at Highway 93 (Lap 2) and back to Eben Fine Park. The Boulder Ck segment is 4.62 miles and the South Boulder Creek segment is 5.63 miles. The one way total is 10.25 mi and the round trip is 20.5 miles. The Boulder Creek Trail is concrete from start to finish but I estimate there are dirt side trails for two thirds of the length. Boulder Creek Trail also has year round drinking fountains at the West end of Boulder High School and the East side of Foothills Parkway underpass. South Boulder Ck Trail is 80% dirt and once you reach Bobolink Trailhead it’s all dirt.
